We wanted to highlight an incredible band - who have been called Gaelic folk superstars and it's no surprise why. Mànran's music is uplifting and vibrant, mixed with both traditional and modern music influences. At Entertainment Events Organisation (EEO) we are looking forward to working with them in the future.
Who Are Mànran?
ManRan are one of the biggest bands on the Scottish Trad circuit, regularly playing major outdoor shows in Scotland.
They have toured the world from their Scottish base to Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Khazakhstan and plenty of land in between. Next year the band will be headlining the Hoolie in Carnegie Hall in New York. Strangely, despite headlining around the world, they have never played Ireland and are determined to change that in 2025. Their music is a blend of Scots Gaelic Ballads from the vocals of Kim Carnie through to Scottish Traditional Instrumental music.
The Band is led by Gary Innes, who apart from touring with ManRan, is well known for presenter of weekly Scottish Traditional Music show on BBC Scotland .

Multi award-winning Scottish supergroup Mànran have been at the heart of the Scottish traditional music scene for over a decade. Internationally recognised as one of the most iconic and respected Scottish bands on the road today, the seven-piece show no signs of slowing down as they continue to push boundaries and explore new musical and geographical territory, bringing their uplifting and unique live performances to stages across the world.

Having played in over 30 countries, including the USA, Asia and Australia (where they were awarded the accolade “International Artist of the Year” at the Australian Celtic Music Awards) this multifaceted musical powerhouse has gathered a loyal fanbase worldwide, due to their self-penned tunes performed on a mixture of traditional and modern instruments, outstanding songs in Gaelic and English and vibrant live performances.
